Vinh Phuc provincial Committee for Religious Affairs held on May 30 a conference to disseminate the decree guiding the implementation of the law on belief and religion to Christian deacons in the province.
About 60 deacons from Catholic parishes and Protestant churches and congregations in the locality have attended the one-day conference.
The event covered key contents of the government decree No.162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion, including the right of freedom on belief and religion, ordination of religious dignitaries, registration of religious activities, publication, education, recognition of religious organizations, religious activities by foreigners in Vietnam, etc.
