As many as 300 key followers of religious organizations in Bac Ninh province have attended a conference on the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 held on August 27-28.
The dissemination of the new belief and religion law was organized by the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) in collaboration with Bac Ninh provincial government.
Present at the event also included Dr. Vice Chairman of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà, Director of Legislation and Inspection Department under the GCRA Nguyễn Thị Định and Chairman of Bac Ninh provincial religious committee Đinh Xuân Vịnh.
The two-day conference focused on key contents of the belief and religion law 2016 and its guiding decree 162, both taken effect since January this year.
The conference reporters have also delivered presentations on religious demography in the country as well as state policies relating belief and religion.
