Joining the visit included Chairman of the People’s Committee in Ha Tinh province Võ Trọng Hải and Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Tiến Trọng.

Speaking at the visiting reception, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng highly appreciated practical contributions made by Bishop Louis Nguyễn Anh Tuấn when he worked in Ho Chi Minh city Archdiocese and expressed hope that in his new position, Bishop Louis Hoàng Anh Tuấn would continue closely working with provincial authorities and concerning agencies of Ha Tinh and Quang Binh, contributing to prosperity in the two localities.

Speaking with the guests, Bishop Louis Nguyễn Anh Tuấn took the change to thank the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs and the GCRA official for congratulations on his bishopric appointment.

As reported, Vatican appointed Bishop Apostolic Administrator of Ha Tinh Diocese Louis Nguyễn Anh Tuấn as the new Residential Bishop of the diocese on March 25.
