The Council for Defense-Security Education of the 7th military region opened on October 2 a conference on defense-security knowledge for 105 key members of several religious organizations in provinces and cities in the military region.
The event taking place in Ho Chi Minh city saw the participation of Major General Nguyễn Minh Hoàng, Deputy Political Commissar of the 7th military region and heads of divisions under region military command.
Main topics presented at the conference focused on the Party and State’s viewpoints and policies on protecting national security and building of the people’s defense and people’s security as well as the Party and State’s standpoints and policies on ethnicity and religion in attachment to defense and security in the new period.
The conference is taking place until October 5.
