The Military Command in Nha Trang city in association with the department of home affairs and the political training center in the city held on September 25-26 a course on defense and security knowledge for 100 key religious deacons in the city.
Main topics presented at the course focused on the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies on religion and defense & security, basic contents of laws on national defense, national security, military service and militia and self-defense forces and the ordinance the reserve force, and economic development issues relating defense-security enhancement.
The training course aimed at updating defense-security knowledge for local religious deacons as well as raising awareness of their responsibilities in the maintenance of national security and defense in the country in general and in the locality in particular.
