The Committee for Religious Affairs in Gia Lai province held on August 7-8 a conference on the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding decree No. 162 to key officials in the province.
Attending the conference taking place in the province’s Pleiku city included 200 officials tasked with the state management on religion at the provincial and district levels in the locality.
During the two-day conference, Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Bùi Thanh Hà delivered key contents of the Law on Belief and Religion and the Government Decree No.162/2017/ND-CP on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the religious law. He also presented practical issues relating to the implementation of the new religious law and its guiding decree in the province.
In addition, the advocacy work toward religious followers for well implementing the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies and laws was presented at the conference by the representative from the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization.
