The Vinh Hai border post under the Soc Trang provincial border defense force in collaboration with sponsors in the province held on January 1 a charity program for supporting disadvantaged Khmer people in the locality.
The charity program presented support 50 packets worth 15 million VND in total to local Khmer in communes of Vinh Hai and Lac Hoa in Vinh Chau provincial city.
The charity program contributed to bring a warm Tet holiday to disadvantaged people, said Lieutenant Colonel Commissioner of the Vinh Hai border post Trương Minh Hùng.
