Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Party’s Committee Trần Văn Nam on January 13 visited the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Committee in the province base in Hoi Khanh pagoda, ahead of Tet (Lunar New Year) 2021.
The Secretary accompanied by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Lộc Hà was welcomed by Most Venerable Thích Huệ Thông, Chairman of the Buddhist executive committee in the province.
During the visit, Secretary Trần Văn Nam sent wishes of good health, happiness and success to leaders and members of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha chapter in the province, ahead of Lunar New Year 2021.
The Secretary also took the chance to inform the socio-economic development of the province over the past year and the plan of building the relic site of President Hồ Chí Minh's father Nguyễn Sinh Sắc in the area adjacent to Hoi Khanh pagoda.
He expressed hope that in 2023, on occasion of the 100th anniversary of Mr. Nguyễn Sinh Sắc coming to live in Thu Dau Mot City, there will be several parts of the project inaugurated.
