A delegation led by Chairwoman of the People’s Council in Ben Tre province Hồ Thị Hoàng Yến extended on December 15 a visit to Bishop of Vinh Long Diocese Peter Hoàng Văn Hai, on the occasion of Christmas 2022.
During the visit, while extending warm Christmas greetings to Bishop Peter Huỳnh Văn Hai, Catholic priests and lay Catholics in the province, Deputy Secretary Hồ Thị Hoàng Yến also informed the host results of socio-economic development of the province, as well as highlighted practical contributions made by local Catholics for the Covid-19 prevention works and the development in the locality.
She also expressed hope that Bishop Hoàng Văn Hai would continue encouraging priests and lay Catholics of the diocese to observe state policies and laws on belief & religion, and contributing to socio-economic development in the province.
