A delegation of Tay Ninh provincial authorities led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee cum Head of the National Assembly Deputies Group of Tay Ninh province Phạm Hùng Thái paid on November 1 a visit to the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee in the province, on the occasion of the 40th Founding Anniversary of the VBS.
Welcomed the delegation included Most Venerable Thích Niệm Thới, Member of the VBS’s Central Executive Council cum Chairman of the VBS’s Executive Committee in the province.
During the visit, while extending congratulations to Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and lay Buddhists in the province on the 40th VBS’s Founding Anniversary, Deputy Secretary Phạm Hùng Thái spoke highly of practical contributions made by Buddhists to the national construction and defense as well as socio-economic development in the locality.
