Deputy Secretary Phạm Hùng Thái presents gift to Tay Ninh Caodai Church

Welcoming the official at the office of the Tay Ninh Caodai church included Cardinal President of the Caodai church Thượng Tám Thanh and several other dignitaries of the church.

During the visit, while extending best wishes to Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh Deputy Secretary Phạm Hùng Thái had exchanges on preparation works for Yen Dieu Tri Cung Festival 2024 (the 15^th and 16^th day of the 8^th lunar month –September17 – 18, 2024) and the 100^th anniversary of Caodaism (the 15^th day of the 10^th lunar month).

The Deputy Secretary expressed hope that the Yen Dieu Tri Cung Festival 2024 would be successfully organize to and promote the unique features of Caodaism together with fine cultural traditions of the locality and the Caodai Church and the Cardinal would well guide Caodai members to practice the religion following the Church’s motto “the country’s glory, the religion’s enlightenment”.

Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh took the chance to thank to the provincial authorities for their due attention and favourable conditions extended to religious affairs of the Caodai church in the locality.

As reported, in response to a call from the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Tay Ninh Caodai Church on September 13 donated 200 million VND for assisting localities affected by storms and floods.
