During the meetings, religious participants had exchanges with local authorities on cohesion and trust between armed forces, local people and religions, and highlighted roles of local religious organizations and authorities in implementing the Party’s and the State’s guidelines and policies, promoting fine cultural, ethical values, and accompanying with the nation in the cause of national construction and defense.

As reported at the event, over the past years, the 5^th Division of the 7^th Military Region has encouraged local religious followers and people to well implement the State and the Party’s guidelines and policies, contributing to strengthen the national defense and security and build a prosperous country of Vietnam.

Furthermore, since 2019, the Military Region 7 Command has built 136 cultural and sports facilities as gifts for religious establishments and ethnic minority areas and presented 572 “Military-civilian sentiment” houses to religious and ethnic minority people facing housing difficulties and over 1,500 gift sets, 3,500 kg of rice and over 5,000 kg of vegetables and fruits to disadvantaged religious followers.
