The first Vietnamese pagoda shaping in Kanagawa, Japan was inaugurated at a ceremony on August 5.
Attending the event were Budhdhist monks, nuns and followers who are preaching and studying in Japan.
During the event, Buddhist monks and nuns performed inauguration rituals as well as offered incense to the Buddha in the main worshipping hall of the pagoda and paid tribute to Late Most Venerable Thích Minh Tuyền.
It’s reported that, Most Venerable Thích Minh Tuyền has started fundraising for the construction of pagoda since 2010 with the aim to create a Buddhist worshipping place for the oversea Vietnamese community in Japan.
