Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, an Englishman with 60 years of age, will replace Archbishop Dominique Mamberti, who served as Minister of the Holy See’s Relations with States in the past eight years.©
The Archbishop is regarded as an experienced diplomat as he has served several terms in diplomatic missions overseas including the Council of Europe.
