Vietnam and Kazakhstan share experience on religious and ethnic issues

The Kazakhstan Embassy in Vietnam in collaboration with the Home Affairs Ministry and the National Academy of Public Administration held on June 24 a roundtable conference on ethnic and religious issues in the Kazakhstan Republic’s Constitution.

According to Ambassador Beketzhan Zhumakhanov of Kazakhstan in Vietnam, Vietnam and Kazakhstan have strengthened its friendship relation for recent years by expanding bilateral cooperation in various fields.

He also shared at the conference that Kazakhstan is a country with over 130 ethnic groups and many different religions coexisting together.

Deputy Director of the National Institute of Public Administration Lê Thị Vân Hạnh said this event was an opportunity for the two sides to exchange on religious issues provided in the country Constitution, as well as the practical handling of ethnic and religious issues in each country.
