On Sept. 30, Venerable Secretary General of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Council Thích Đức Thiện received Sri Lanka Ambassador Saranya Hasathi Urgodawatt Dissanayke at Quan Su pagoda in Hanoi.
At the reception, Venerable Thích Đức Thiện shared with the guest about the VBS history as well as recent Buddhist developments in the country. He also expressed that the VBS wish to expand relations and cooperation with international religious organizations.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador of Sri Lanka expressed her pleasure at the fine diplomatic and traditional relation between Vietnam and Sri Lanka over the past years.
