At the reception, Most Venerable Thích Thiện Nhơn expressed his pleasure at the traditional friendship and fine cooperation relation between two Buddhist Sanghas of Vietnam and Thailand.
The Most Venerable expressed hope that the cooperation and exchange between the two Buddhist Sanghas two countries of Vietnam-Thailand would be promoted and strengthened even more.
The leader of VBS also expressed his deep condolences at the death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
For his part, Thai Ambassador to Vietnam Manopchai exchanged with the hosts results of celebrating activities to mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (August 6, 1976 - August 6, 2016).
