A delegation from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) led by Most Venerable Thích Thiện Tánh started a relief program on June 18 for helping victims of the earthquake disaster in Nepal.
On the first day – 18/6, the delegation performed prayers and presented relief for the disaster’s victims at World Peace pagoda in Kathmadu, capital of Nepal.

At the pagoda, the delegation presented 222 gift boxes (each gift box worth US50 with additional noodles and medicines) to Buddhists who have family members killed in the earthquake.
On the second day – 19/6, the VBS delegation presented charity gifts at three places including Betravati Village Distriet Nuvakol pagoda in Kathmandu city, Ranis Wari province and Lang Tang village.
