The Korean Protestant group was established in 1994 and used to hold its religious meetings inside Ha Noi Protestant Church (address: No 2 Ngo Tram Street). Given the registration certificate, the congregation has the new name “the Korean Protestant Church in Hanoi”, and its will lawfully organize group activities in OTC 3D Building located in Co Nhue - Xuan Dinh new urban area. The Korean church and its representative, Pastor Tae Won Soo, have been given credit for social charities in Vietnam.
Earlier, another Korean group, Hanoi Saeong Myeong Na Mu Protestant Church, has also successfully registered with the Hanoi municipal authorities for their group activities in the independent venue at Flat 1108 of Keangnam Tower located in Nam Tu Liem district.
The approval for Korean Protestants communities in Vietnam to have independent places for group religious meetings from Vietnamese worshipping places have been executed in compliance with the Law on Belief and Religion, allowing foreign communities to lawfully practice religion at separate places.
