A delegation of Sepon district public security, Savannakhet province of Laos paid a visit to Hoang Phuc pagoda located in Quang Binh province’s Le thuy district on June 12.
The 15-member delegation led by Chief of Sepon district public security Colonel Bounvorn Sisouna was welcomed by Chairman of Le Thuy Commission for Mass Mobilization cum Chief of the district public security Trần Đức Tới and Venerable Thích Khải Đạo, Chairman of the Communication and Information Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha chapter in Quang Binh province cum Head of Hoang Phuc pagoda.
During the visit, Venerable Thích Khải Đạo introduced the history of the 700- year-old Hoang Phuc pagoda and shared about the Buddhist affairs of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha chapter in Le Thuy district to the delegation.

Chairman of Sepon district People’s Committee Vongsai Sayachak took the chance to thank Le Thuy district authorities and Hoang Phuc pagoda for the warm welcome extended to the delegation. He also expressed hope for more exchanges between the two districts of Vietnam and Laos in the coming time.
