The event was co-organized by the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam, the Chairman of the Iran-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group and the Director of Safa Carpet Gallery.  

Distinguished guests to the opening ceremony included Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Đặng Minh Khôi, Chairman of the Iran-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group Lê Quang Huy and Iranian Ambassador to Vietnam Hossein Alvandi Behineh.

 Speaking at the opening ceremony, Iranian Ambassador said the carpets show the unique cultural value and religious life of the Iranian people., He emphasized that Persian carpets are the best in the world, which are real art works rather than decorative objects./.
