Gen. Wirachai Songmetta, Deputy Chief of the Royal Thai Police visited Ba Vang Pagoda located in Vietnam’s Northern province of Quang Ninh on July 13, during his working visit to Vietnam.
In welcoming the guests, Venerable Abbot of the pagoda Thích Trúc Thái Minh extended congratulations to the Thai national police on the success of coordinated efforts in rescuing the youth football team in Tham Luang Cave in the last two weeks.
The Buddhist Venerable also expressed hope that the Viet-Thai friendly relation will further be strengthened and developed.

During the visit, Deputy Chief Wirachai Songmetta and his delegation paid homage to the Buddha worshipped in the sanctum of the pagoda.
