On September 3, Counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy in Czech Republic Hoàng Thùy Dương and ambassadors of the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand, and representatives from the Czech Republic organizing committee held a press conference to introduce the 3rd ASEAN Prague film festival.
The 3rd ASEAN – Prague film festival will take place on September from 9th to 13th at Lucerna cinema – the oldest and famous cinema in the center of Prague, the Czech Republic.
5 films from 5 ASEAN countries include “Once Upon a Time in Vietnam”from Vietnam, “RPG Metanoi” from the Philippines, “Ladda Land” from Thailand, “Garuda di Dadaku” from Indonesia and “Songlap” from Malaysia

The Vietnamese film “Lua Phat” (Once Upon A Time in Vietnam) directed by Vietnamese-American Dustin Nguyen will be screened at the closing ceremony on September 13th. The film tells an imagery story of a monk with great muscle art skills, after helping the king fighting off foreign invaders tried to get rid of the earthly life, and then tempted in the spiral of love and vengeance.
