An international conference on religion and economics in ASEAN community took place in Hanoi on October 23.
The conference, themed “Religion, Economics and ASEAN Community” was co-organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities under the Vietnam National University in Hanoi and J. Reuben Clark Law School under Brigham Young University.
The international event drew the participation of about 100 scholars and researchers in Vietnam and from ASEAN countries, with presentation papers focusing on how religion can contribute to sustainable economic development in the ASEAN region.
