Indian Buddhist delegation visits AO children in Da Nang

A delegation of Indian Buddhism led by Most Venerable Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche - the United Nations’ Ambassador on environmental issues visited the sponsoring center for agent orange (AO) victims and unhappy children in Da Nang city’s Hoa Vang district on May 5. 

During the visit, while presenting gifts to the AO children at the total value of VND 45 million, the delegation praised staffers of the center for their devotion and enthusiasm in caring, nurturing and vocational training for the disadvantaged victims in the locality.

The delegation visit, taking place during a working trip to Da Nang city and on occasion of the Buddha’s Birthday Festival 2017 (B.E. 2561), was joint by Buddhist followers from Pho Quang Pagoda in the city’s Son Tra district.
