A delegation from Hong Kong Taoist Institute headed by Prof. Du Tử An visited Tay Ninh Caodai Church on July 12 during a trip to Vietnam from July 7 - 13.
The delegation comprising of three professors, one faculty dean and 19 members was welcomed by Cardinal President of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Executive Council Thượng Tám Thanh.
During the welcoming reception, Cardinal President Thượng Tám Thanh shared with the guests the history and development of Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Vietnam as well as worshipping practices of Caodaism.
Prof. Du Tử An thanked the Caodai Church for its warm welcome and invited the church to visit the Institute in the coming time.
Hong Kong Taoist Institute is a center for the studies of Taoism and was established in 1991. The institute opens courses to study and research on Taoist culture as well as organizes international conferences and seminars. The institute also publishes periodical publications related to Taoism and Taoist culture.
