Home affairs department of Ha Nam meets with Kathog Lineage Buddhist delegation of Bhutan and India

A delegation led by Deputy Director of the Home Affairs Department in the Northern province of Ha Nam Đỗ Hồng Hà on April 15 met with the Kathog Lineage Buddhist delegation of Bhutan and India in Tam Chuc pagoda.

The Kathog Lineage Buddhist delegation of Bhutan and India comprising of 39 Buddhist monks led by Master Tenzin TuiKu Ge Dhug Nyma - Dhughe Rinpoche has been visiting Tam Chuc Buddhist Complex located in Ha Nam’s Kim Bang district from April 13-19.

During the reception, Deputy Director Đỗ Hồng Hà informed the guests about the religious and belief life in the province. He also affirmed that the local authorities and concerning agencies always respect and ensure everyone's right to freedom of belief and religion.

Master Tenzin TuiKu Ge Dhug Nyma - Dhughe Rinpoche expressed his appreciation for the respectful welcome and due attention by the provincial authority extended to the Buddhist delegation's working trip in Vietnam. The Buddhist dignitary also shared with the official about the delegation’s religious program in Tam Chuc pagoda including a praying for peace ceremony, a requiem ceremony, and a Buddhist art performance taking place on April 18.
