Government religious committee leader receives delegation from Seventh-day Adventist world church

Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Chiến Thắng hosted on May 22 a reception for a visiting delegation from the Seventh-day Adventist world church led by Pastor President Ted Norman Clair Wilson.

Sharing with the guests, Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng stated that Vietnam is a multi-religious country with many religious followers and the Vietnamese Party and State always respect and guarantee everyone’s right to freedom of belief and religion including foreigners who are living and studying in Vietnam.
He also spoke highly of practical contributions of the Vietnam Adventist Church in charitable activities and environment protection.
The Chairman also expressed hope that the Seventh-day Adventist world church would further support the Vietnam Adventist Church and encourage its followers to make practical contributions to the country.
Pastor Ted Norman Clair Wilson took the chance to thank State authorities of Vietnam, including the GCRA for support extended to religious affairs of the Vietnam Adventist Church over the past years, including the approval for the church to establish its training school in the country.
