Tuong Nguyen Charity Group under Giac Nguyen pagoda in Ho Chi Minh city organized charity programs for free eye surgery and presenting wheelchairs to poor Cambodian from April 30 to May 6.
On May 1, the charity group conducted the operation of 90 cases of cataracts and donated 50 wheelchairs to poor people in Batdambang province. In Phrom Srok province, more than 700 people were received the eyes treatment and surgery from the group, as well as 100 wheelchairs were presented to poor disabled people on May 3-5.
It’s reported that the charity group conducted the charity programs at an estimated cost of over VND1.4 billion.
