GCRA leader receives Australia Counselor

Australian Embassy’s Counselor for Political and Economic Affairs Nadia Krivetz paid a working visit to the Government Committee for Religious Affairs on Feb. 6.

The counselor was accompanied by Australian Embassy’s First Secretary Nadia Krivetz and welcomed by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn and representatives from several GCRA’s departments.

For the guest’s concern and request on her first visit to the GCRA office, the GCRA Vice Chairman briefed about the GCRA’s key functions and tasks, religious diversity in Vietnam, policies and laws for ensuring religious freedom by the State of Vietnam, information relating Vietnam – Vatican relation…

The Australian Counselor thanked Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn for his briefing and said his information helped enhance her understanding of religion in Vietnam. She also extended her wishes to GCRA leaders and staff on occasion of Vietnam’s traditional Lunar New Year./.
