The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) in collaboration with the Institute for Global Engagement (IGE) held a conference with the theme “social contributions of religions” on March 30-31.
Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Dương Ngọc Tấn and IGE’s representative Vũ Thị Mai Hiên joint with leaders from provincial Committees for Religious Affairs and religious dignitaries.
The two-day seminar created opportunities for exchanges of views on contributions made by religious organizations to peace and stability and socio-economic development in the country.
Since 2010, the GCRA has coordinated with IGE in organizing 12 conferences for dissemination of the religious policies and laws to local officials working on religious affairs, dignitaries and followers.
