The Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam will organize the Festival of Colors - HOLI 2019, one of the biggest Indian festivals, at Kinder Park in Tay Ho District, Hanoi on April 7, expecting to bring the true Indian cultural spirit to the capital city.
HOLI is an ancient Hindu festival originating in the Indian subcontinent. It is celebrated predominantly in India and Nepal, but has also spread to other parts of Asia.
For many people, this is a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships.
HOLI is known as the festival of colors because the participants throw colored powders on each other, believing that those who get more colors will get luckier.
In addition to throwing colored powders, participants at the HOLI 2019 in Hanoi will be entertained by music performances and have a chance to experience Indian cuisine and henna drawing.
Tickets are VND 250,000 per child from 6 to 12 years old, VND 600,000 per adult, and free for children under 6 years old.
