Deputy PM to attend UN Human Rights Council session, visit Spain


Deputy Prime Minister Trần Lưu Quang will lead a Vietnamese delegation to attend the 52nd regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland.

He will also pay an official visit to Spain, according to a press communique released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.

The trip is scheduled to take place from February 26 to March 3, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Vietnam was elected to the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) for the 2023 - 2025 tenure on October 11, 2022 during the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, marking the second time that the country has been elected to the UNHRC.
