Joining the reception included Chief of the Ministry of Home Affairs’ (MOHA) Office Vũ Đăng Minh, Director of the MOHA’s International Relation Department Chu Tuấn Tú, and representative from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs.
During the reception, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng had exchanges with Ambassador Mohammed Ismaeil A. Dahlwy on religious life and policies of Vietnam towards religions in general and Islam in Vietnam in particular. He affirmed that religious organizations have played important roles for national construction and development of the country.
The official expressed hope that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would continue promoting trade cooperation on Halal products between the two countries including, as well as calling on organizations and businesses of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support the Muslim community in Vietnam in building mosques, granting scholarships to Vietnamese Muslim students, etc.

For his part, Ambassador Mohammed Ismaeil A. Dahlwy thanked the GCRA for the warm welcome and expressed that he would do his best for promoting successful cooperation programs in the field of belief and religion between the two country.
