Catholic vocational training school receives Rector of Thailand International Catholic University

A delegation of the International Catholic University (ICU) in Thailand and the Dominican Sisters International visited Hoa Binh vocational training school in Dong Nai province on May 25. 

The delegation included Bishop Magnificus, Rector of the ICU; Sr. Marie Therese, International Coordinator of the Dominican Sisters International in Rome; Sr. Bernadette Kiley, Coordinator of the Dominican Sisters International for the Asia-Pacific Region; Sr. Maria Phạm Thị Huy, Superior Sister of the Congregation of the Vietnamese Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena in Bien Hoa province’s Ho Nai commune, and sisters under the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena who are teaching in the ICU in Thailand.

Priest Rector of the Hoa Binh Catholic vocational training school Joseph Nguyễn Văn Uy, staffers and students welcomed the delegation.

During the reception meeting, the two sides exchanged on past experiences and achievements in education and training; Bishop Rector Magnificus also expressed hope to grant scholarships to teachers and students of the Hoa Binh Catholic vocational training school to study at the ICU in the future.

According to Priest Rector Joseph Nguyễn Văn Uy, currently the Hoa Binh Catholic vocational training school is enrolling the 6th training course.
