Many Buddhist followers in Warszawa, Poland have attended the Thuong Nguyen ceremony, an important Buddhist event often takes place the 15ht day of the lunar year held on February 23 at Nhan Hoa pagoda.
The event organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Cultural Centre in Poland saw the participation of Senior Venerable Thích Trí Chơn, Abbot of Khanh Anh monastery in Ho Chi Minh city, Senior Venerable Thích Trung Đạt, Abbot of Nhan Hoa pagoda, representatives from the Vietnam Embassy in Poland, and a large numbers of Buddhists and overseas Vietnamese in Poland.
During the ceremony, participating Buddhists performed Buddhist rituals including incense offering, Buddhist chanting and preaching and prayers for peace.
