Binh Duong provincial leader receives Cambodian Ministry of Cults and Religion delegation

Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee in Binh Duong Đặng Minh Hưng hosted on November 26 a reception for a visiting delegation led by Secretary of the Cambodian Ministry of Cults and Religion Khenh Hang Huon.
During the reception, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee in Binh Duong Đặng Minh Hưng informed the guest results of socio-economic development in the province over the past years.
In regards to religious affairs, Vice Chairman Đặng Minh Hưng shared that the local authorities have paid due attention to meet religious practices of locals as well as create favorable conditions for religious organizations to operate in compliance with their charters and regulations.
The province is currently home to over 310 worshipping places with more than 1,300 dignitaries of seven operative religions, according to the Vice Chairman.
Speaking with the host, Secretary of State Kheng Hang Huon stated that the Government and people of Cambodia is always grateful to Vietnamese voluntary soldiers for their support and sacrifices in saving Cambodian people from a genocide.
The Cambodian delegation visit contributed to promote mutual understanding and traditional friendship between Cambodia and Vietnam, he added.
