Asif Foundation organization, Caritas of My Tho diocese support people facing drought and saltwater intrusion in Tien Giang

The Asif Foundation organization from Australia on May 19 presented 140 kettles and 140 empty water tanks to poor people in Tan Thanh commune of Tan Phu Dong district, and Tan Phuoc and Tan Thanh communes of Go Cong Dong district in Tien Giang province.
The charitable program for supporting people facing drought and saltwater intrusion was held in collaboration with the Caritas of My Tho Diocese, and valued at 210 million VND.
Early, the Caritas of My Tho Diocese has handed over 400 gift sets containing rice and noodles valued at 120 million VND in total to poor people in Hoa Hung and An Thai Trung communes of Cai Be district, and Vam Lang and Tan Thanh communes of Go Cong Dong district in the province.
