Vietnam United World Mission Church leader visits Government Religious Committee

On Oct. 27, a delegation from the Executive Committee of the Vietnam United World Mission Church led by Pastor President of the Church Ân Ước visited the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) at its headquarters in Hanoi.

Welcoming the delegation were Vice Chairman of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà and Acting Director of the Protestant Affairs Department Thiều Thị Hương.

During the reception, Pastor Ân Ước thanked the GCRA for its support over the past years, and briefed the hosts of the Church’s contributions to hunger eradication, poverty reduction and other social and charitable activities in the country. He also stated that the Church’s Executive Committee would continue upholding the religious guideline “Living with the Gospel, worshipping God, Serving the Fatherland and the Nation” for practical religious and social developments in the country.

Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà acknowledged positive contributions to the cause of the national construction and defense made by the Vietnam United World Mission Church and expressed hope for further contributions by the Church in the country’s international integration process.
