A delegation from the Vietnam United Methodist Church led by Mr. Tô Văn Út visited the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) on April 10.
Historically, the Methodist Church was introduced into Vietnam before 1975 and the Vietnam United Methodist Church was founded in 1991.
Currently, the Vietnam United Methodist Church has nearly 200 meeting groups with 15,000 followers in 24 cities and provinces.
On this occasion, the Church sent a written registration for religious operation to the GCRA. The Church has been conducting religious activities in meeting places registered with local authorities in accordance with Directive 01/2005.
