Pastor President of the Vietnam Baptist Church Nguyễn Võ Khánh Giám led a delegation to meet new Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Chiến Thắng on September 26.
During the visiting reception, while extending best wishes to Mr. Vũ Chiến Thắng on being promoted as the GCRA’s new Chairman, Pastor President Nguyễn Võ Khánh Giám took the chance to share with the GCRA’s new leader results of the 3rd national congress of the Vietnam Baptist Church. He also expressed hope that, in the new position, the GCRA Chairman would further support and create favorable conditions for the Church’s activities in the coming time.
On this occasion, the Church presented a memorial badge to the GCRA’s Chairman.
Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng thanked the Vietnam Baptist Church delegation for the visit and congratulation. He called on the Church to disseminate the new Law on religion and belief to the Church’s followers as well as encourage them to make practical contributions to socio-economic development in the country.
