On occasion of Buddha Birthday’s Festival 2016 (B.E. 2560), Director of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Buddhist Affair Department Bùi Hữu Dược visited dignitaries of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Bac Ninh province on May 17.
Representatives of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs also joint the visit meetings.
At visiting receptions, Director Bùi Hữu Dược met and extended Vesak greetings to Most Venerable Vice Patriarch of the VBS Discernment Council Thích Thanh Sam, Most Venerable Deputy Secretary of the VBS Discernment Council Thích Thanh Dũng, and members of the provincial VBS Executive Committee. He also expressed hope that the Bac Ninh provincial VBS Executive Committee would encourage monks, nuns and followers to proactively respond to the election to the National Assembly and People's Council at all levels in 2016.
