The Government Committee for Religious Affairs held on October 27 – 28 a training conference for personnel tasked with the state management on belief and religion in Ben Tre province.
The event drew 200 participants from the home affairs department, religious affairs committee, mass mobilization commission, Fatherland front committee, public security, etc. of Mekong River delta’s provinces and cities, and personnel tasked with belief and religious affairs in Ben Tre.
During the two-day conference, officials from the government religious committee presented new contents of the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies on belief and religion, and topics covering practical issues relating the state management on Caodaism and Buddhism, and the implementation the Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding Decree No.162
The training also provided interpretations and explanations of remaining issues related to the state management on belief and religion in localities.
