The religious organizations visits and congratulates the Government Committee for Religious Affairs

On August 1st, a delegation from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) led by Most Venerable Thích Thanh Nhiễu, Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of VBS and a delegation from the General Confederation of Evangelical Churches of Vietnam (Northern) led by Pastor Nguyễn Hữu Mạc visited and congratulated the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) on the occasion of the founding anniversary of GCRA and the Traditional Day of State Sector on religious affairs, (August 2nd, 1955- August 2nd, 2014)
Mr. Bùi Thanh Hà, Vice Chairman of the GCRA together with representatives from Departments of Buddhist Affairs, International Cooperation, Protestant Affairs, Organization and Personnel and Legislation and Inspection, and the Committee Office welcomed the delegations.

At the reception, Most Venerable Thích Thanh Nhiễu, on behalf of VBS, and Pastor Nguyễn Hữu Mạc, on behalf of the Executive Committee and the Church’s believers, sent congratulations to Committee leaders and staff for achievement and contribution to the cause of national construction, as well as for favorable conditions created by the GCRA for religious organizations in general, Buddhism and Protestantism in particular, to conduct religious activities in recent years.
On behalf of the leaders of GCRA, Mr. Bùi Thanh Hà expressed his thanks to the dignitaries and expressed his hope that dignitaries will further instruct followers to comply with the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies and laws.
