The Presbyterian Church of Vietnam’s delegation visits the Government Committee for Religious Affairs

On September 4th, a delegation from the Management Council of the Presbyterian Church of Vietnam led by pastor Điểu Bôi visited the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA).

Mrs. Hoàng Thị Thảo, Director of Department of Protestant Affairs under the GCRA welcomed the delegation.

At the reception, the two sides exchanged some issues related to the Church’s activities such as ordainment, registration of meeting groups, training courses…. Mrs. Hoàng Thị Thảo also shared with the delegation legal procedures for matters and issues to be conducted by the Church in the coming time.

On behalf of the delegation, pastor Điểu Bôi thanked the GCRA for favorable conditions created to the Church’s 2nd General Assembly (2014 - 2018). He also expressed his hope that the GCRA will continue to pay attention and support the Church’s activities in the coming time.

On behalf of leaders’ GCRA, Mrs. Hoàng Thị Thảo wished members of the Management Council best wishes and hoped that the new Management Council will guide Protestant followers to comply with the Charter and regulation of the Church, and the state law, contributing to build the great national unity bloc.
