The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) in collaboration with Tay Ninh provincial People’s Committee held a conference on Caodai affairs in Tay Ninh city on August 16.
The event was co-chaired by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Thanh Ngọc, and attended by representatives of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of Defense Affairs, and local authorities of provinces and cities where headquarters of Caodai Churches located.
The conference reviewed Caodai affairs in localities. During the event, the participating delegates highlighted that, for the past years, Caodai Churches have well observed the Caodai charters and the State’s laws.
As also reported at the conference, land issues for building worshipping facilities for Caodai Churches have been well addressed, with over 80% worshipping places of Caodaism obtaining the land use right certificate.
