Seminar on organizational structure of state administration on religious affairs for Northern region held in Hanoi

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) under the Ministry of Home Affairs held on September 20 another seminar on the organizational structure of the State administration on religious affairs for Northern region.
The event taking place in Hanoi was co-chaired by GCRA’s Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng and Chief Executive Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà, and attended by representatives of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Ministry of Public Security, and heads of the provincial-level People’s Committee, Department of Home Affairs and Committee for Religious Affairs from 30 Northern provinces and cities.
The seminar focused on the discussion of the apparatus and structure of the State administration on religious affairs in localities, and gathering comments on the draft decrees for detailing and providing measures for the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion, and providing sanctions for administrative violations of the law on belief and religion.
Earlier, on August 28, the GCRA also co-organized the similar seminar for 32 provinces and cities in Southern region.
