Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Dương Ngọc Tấn attended a ceremony for formally establishing the 2nd branch of Xuan Loc St Joseph Major Seminary in Lam Dong province’s Da Lat city held on May 12.
The event saw the participation of Bishop of Da Lat diocese cum Head of Commission for Priests and Postulants under the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam Antoine Vũ Huy Chương, Bishop of Thanh Hoa diocese Joseph Nguyễn Đức Cường, members of the management board and seminarians of the new branch of Xuan Loc St Joseph Major Seminary.
During the ceremony, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn handed over the approval certificate of the Ministry of Home Affairs on the establishment of the 2nd branch of Xuan Loc St Joseph Major Seminary of Da Lat diocese.

The second branch of Xuan Loc St Joseph Major Seminary in Da Lat is located in No. 51 Van Kiep street, ward 8, Da Lat city. The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam currently has nine major seminaries and one Catholic Institute.
