Religious organizations extend traditional New Year greetings to Government Religious Committee

Vice Chairwoman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Trần Thị Minh Nga on January 8 hosted a reception for a visiting delegation from the Vietnam Full Gospel Church led by President Đinh Thanh Hùng ahead of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2020.

At the visiting reception, President Đinh Thanh Hùng extended Traditional New Year wishes to officials and employees of the GCRA and took the chance to share with the host religious activities of the Church in 2019.

Speaking with the guests, Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Minh Nga praised social charitable contributions of the Vietnam Full Gospel Church, the first religious organization recognized under the Law on Belief and Religion.

Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Minh Nga also took the chance to convey Tet greetings of the GCRA Chairman to the Christian Church and its members in the country.

On the same day, Head of the Coordination Committee of the Vietnam Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Hoàng Văn Tùng paid a pre-Tet visit to the GCRA.

Welcoming the delegation, Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Minh Nga shared with the guests the state administration on belief and religion in 2019 and conveyed Tet greetings to the Church and its members nation-wide.
