Pastor President of the General Confederation of Evangelical churches of Vietnam (Northern) (ECVN) Nguyễn Hữu Mạc led a delegation to visit the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) on Feb. 11 ahead of the upcoming Traditional Tet Festival.
Joining the visit included Pastor Jacob from the Hanoi International Fellowship (H.I.F), Pastor Seuchoi from Korea Protestant Church in Vietnam.
Vice Chairman of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà, Chief of the Committee Office Dương Văn Khá and Deputy Director of the Protestant Affairs Department Thiều Thị Hương welcomed the ECVN delegation.
At the reception, Pastor President Nguyễn Hữu Mạc expressed Traditional New Year wishes to leaders and officials of the GCRA and took the chance to thank the GCRA for its support extended to religious practices of the ECVN, the H.I.F and Korea Protestant Church in Vietnam over the past years.
During the reception meeting, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà conveyed his New Year wishes to Protestant dignitaries and followers in the Church and expressed his hope that Protestant dignitaries would continue upholding fine traditions of Protestantism and encourage followers to practice the religion in accordance with the religious Charter and laws.

On the same day, Deputy Director of Catholic Affairs Lê Phương Liên received a delegation from Hanoi Sisters of St. Paul led by Sister Nguyễn Thị Lài at the GCRA.
Sister Nguyễn Thị Lài extended New Year greetings to leaders and officials of the GCRA and took the chance to thank the GCRA for its support to the Congregation’s activities in the previous years.
